We’re hosting our next Health and Wellbeing Open Day at Robin Park Leisure Centre on Friday 15 May (10am-3pm), in partnership with Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh (WWL) NHS Foundation Trust and Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare.

You can get a FREE ‘health MOT’ (no appointment needed) and speak to a whole range of local health and wellbeing services about many different topics. All ages welcome.

Pop in anytime between 10am-2pm for:

  • FREE NHS Mini Health Check (ages 18 plus)
  • FREE body composition scans
  • FREE carbon monoxide screening
  • FREE Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening (men aged 64-plus – appointment needed, please call 0161 291 5716, see below for further details)

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening for men

The Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Service will be in attendance offering potentially life-saving screening.

Men aged 64 and over can book a free abdominal ultrasound scan to check for a weakness in the main artery (abdominal aortic aneurysm).
