Back Care sessions use stretching, mobilisation and strengthening exercises to train the muscles that support your spine. Ideal for improving posture and maintaining a healthy back.

What to expect from Back Care

This circuit-style class is made up of exercises that target the muscles that support your back.

We’ll start with a 10-minute warm-up followed by 30 minutes of very specific functional exercises focusing on core conditioning, flexibility and posture.

These exercises will help you to improve your posture and develop your awareness of neutral spinal alignment – both of which are essential to maintaining a healthy back.

You can go at your own pace, with different exercise options available depending on your ability.

Exercise types involved:

  • rotational exercise
  • flexion and extension of the spine.
  • hip flexor stretch
  • hip rotation
