About us

Howe Bridge Leisure Centre has a wide range of facilities for all ages, including a high-spec gym, swimming pools, group exercise studios, outdoor sports pitches, squash courts, and an indoor adventure zone with skate park, climbing walls and soft play. We are also home to a community café and a number of local swimming and scuba diving clubs, with scuba diving courses available.

Teach your child to swim with Be Well!

Learning to swim is a big part of growing up – and our fun and engaging lessons will grow your child’s water confidence and help them become safe, strong swimmers.

Suitable for ages 4+, all our lessons are delivered by experienced, qualified teachers and follow the official Swim England framework so you can easily understand and track your child’s progress.

Are you eligible for a concessionary rate?

For just £2 per year, seniors, young people, students, job-seekers, people with disabilities, carers, and those on low incomes or income support can benefit from exclusive discounts on pay as you go activities to help them Be Well.
