Tai Chi

Tai Chi uses slow and controlled body movements along with breathing and meditation techniques to improve strength, balance, mobility and flexibility, and promote inner and outer calm.

What to expect from Tai Chi

Tai Chi has evolved from an ancient martial art into a popular form of exercise that’s gentle, low-impact and relaxing.

Our instructor will lead you through a series of slow, deliberate bends, stretches and other movements performed to rhythmic choreography. You’ll also learn how to control your breathing with a focus on deep, slow breaths.

It’s all designed to create harmony between mind and body, helping you to achieve inner peace and tranquillity.

Exercise types involved:

  • ward off
  • pull down
  • press
  • lean
  • roll back
  • split
  • push
