with Be Well

You’ll discover so much to do, from climbing walls, skating and adventure play to fun swimming sessions, rope assault courses and watersports. 

Plenty to keep them busy…

Whether you’re looking for a one-off activity, a day out for the whole family, or a holiday club to keep your child busy for a whole day or more, there’s plenty to choose from. 

We also provide free and discounted activities for children and young people who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals, as part of the Department for Education’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

Holiday clubs 

Howe Bridge Leisure Centre has daily activity camps during the school holidays. Children aged 5-12 can enjoy our climbing walls, skate park and adventure play area – plus sports, team games and exclusive use of the swimming pools. 
 
Single day: £18 (£14 concession) 
Mon-Fri: £15 per day (£12 per day concession) 
 
Children need to bring a packed lunch, swim wear and a refillable water bottle.

Tennis camps 

Robin Park Leisure Centre has enjoyable, coach-led tennis camps for children aged 5-11 throughout the school holidays. The focus is very much on having fun, with exciting activities including games, mini-tennis, competitions and prizes. Sessions run 9am-3pm on weekdays.

Young people with disabilities 

We have regular inclusive activities for children and young people with disabilities, both in and out of school term time. Explore what we offer here. 

We also offer inclusive holiday clubs during the Easter and Summer school holidays as part of our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) provision. If your child is eligible for benefits-related free school meals, you will receive an e-voucher allowing you to find book activities through holidayactivities.com

Feeling adventurous?

The school holidays are the perfect time for an outdoor adventure with Be Well Outdoors! Take holiday fun to new heights on our ropes assault courses at Haigh Woodland Park, discover fun woodland adventure activities like den building, archery and axe throwing, or make a splash with watersports at Scotman’s Flash!

If your child is eligible for benefits-related free school meals but you haven’t received an e-voucher allowing you to book activities, please contact your child’s school in the first instance. For any further queries relating to the HAF programme please contact us.
