Empowering you to be healthy and active

At Be Well, we work closely with NHS professionals, GPs, adult social care teams and other organisations as part of a wider support network for local people.

Our specialist wellness coaches will help you enjoy the physical and mental benefits of becoming more active – including getting out of the house and meeting like-minded people.

Group strength and balance

These evidence-based sessions are designed to help you improve your mobility, balance, strength, coordination and confidence to get out and about. 

Classes last approx. 1 hour and are available at leisure centres and community venues across the borough. Prices start from £4.00* (*from 1 April 2025). 

Please note: Classes are part-seated and part-standing. If you have any pre-existing health conditions, you may need to speak to your GP or Practice Nurse first.
